Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the TrustKey Nigeria website and any enquiry you submit through it. By using this site you accept them. If you not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. What we do
TrustKey is a property advisory and agency. We apply a published due diligence standard before representing a property, introduce buyers to sellers, and coordinate independent Nigerian lawyers and Abuja partner agents who carry out the professional work. We are not a law firm, a valuer, a financial institution, or an escrow provider, and we do not provide legal, valuation, tax or investment advice.
3. Information on this site
Property information, prices and availability are provided in good faith and may change without notice. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance or a guarantee of any outcome.
4. Our due diligence standard
Our standard describes what we check, and which independent professional checks it, before we agree to represent a property. Legal opinions, registry searches and formal valuations are carried out by independent professionals instructed on your behalf and reported to you directly. Our comparable-sales information is general market context, not a formal valuation. Applying our standard reduces risk; it cannot eliminate it, and it is not a warranty of title or a guarantee of any outcome.
5. Fees
Our advisory fee is paid by the buyer and agreed in writing before work begins. Third-party costs — legal fees, registry searches and government charges — are separate, payable to the professionals and authorities concerned, and disclosed to you before they are incurred.
6. Payments
Your independent lawyer should advise you on the appropriate payment structure before funds are transferred, and funds should never be sent informally. TrustKey does not hold client funds and will never ask you to send purchase funds to a personal account. If you receive any message appearing to come from us that asks for this, stop and contact us directly through the number published on this site.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to use the site lawfully, and to satisfy any identity or source-of-funds checks required by law before a transaction proceeds.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrustKey is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on general information published on this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud. Liability arising from a specific engagement is governed by the engagement agreement for that matter.
9. Intellectual property
The content, branding and materials on this site belong to TrustKey Nigeria and may not be reproduced commercially without permission. You may download and use the buyer's checklist for your own purchase.
10. Third-party links
This site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form or the WhatsApp channel published on this site.
